Rotary Shaft Seals , Roto Glyd Seal Radial Lip Seals The GRS is a double-acting, O-ring-energized rotary seal that works for shafts, rods, and swivels that move in a circle or back and forth. Single-acting structures with higher rotational speeds are also available. The face ring is made by filled PTFE that has one or two machined grooves, depending on the cross-section. These grooves help seal the ring, keep lubricant in, and reduce surface contact to lower running friction.
