Piston Rod Guide Ring Bronze PTFE Wear Rings
The RYT guide rings or guide strips are essential in hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders to keep the piston and rod move in alignment without introducing excessive lateral forces or wear. RYT bronze-filled PTFE tape comes in rolls and may be cut to appropriate lengths to form interchangeable guide components that can be used as effective substitutes for wear rings.
